We are a local travel agency in Dalyan, Ortaca. We have a boat and we work on it.
That is a smaller claim than most sites in this business make, and it is deliberate.
Who answers when you write
The message goes to the people who work on the water, not to a call centre. That is why answers come back with the boat named, the hour named and, when the honest answer is that a day will not work, that said plainly.
Write in any of the six languages on this site. If a reply comes back plainer than the page you read, that is the trade: we answer in your language rather than asking you to write in ours.
Where we work
Dalyan sits at the end of a delta in Ortaca, Mugla, between Lake Koycegiz and the sea. Everything on this site is within an hour of the quay: the rock tombs above the river, the sulphur pools, the reed channels and the sandbar at Iztuzu.
That whole stretch has been a specially protected area since 1988, which is why the beach has no hotel on it and the boats keep their speed down. It also sets what we can and cannot arrange, and we would rather tell you that before you book than at the quay.
How to reach us and what to say
WhatsApp is the fastest way; the form on the contact page does the same job if you prefer writing. Either way, four lines are usually enough to get a straight answer back.
- The dates you are in Dalyan, or the one day you have free.
- How many of you there are, and whether children are coming.
- Where you are staying, so we know the pick-up side of the river.
- What the day is meant to be for: the beach, the tombs, quiet, or all three.
What we do not publish
- Invented prices. We quote for your date instead, because a printed number goes stale.
- Reviews we cannot show you the source of.
- A licence number we have not been given.
- Wildlife guarantees. Nobody can promise you a turtle.
