How these pages are written
Every page here starts from a question that arrives by message, usually more than once a week. We answer it the way we would answer it on the quay: what the thing actually is, what it costs you in time, who it suits and who it does not.
Where a figure matters, we give the one we can stand behind, and where we could not verify one we say so rather than rounding a guess into a fact. Nothing on these pages is written to fill a page.
What the guide covers
The guide follows the delta rather than a brochure: the beach and its rules, the ancient city above the river, the thermal pools, the lake at the top of the system and the loggerhead turtles that made the whole area protected. Around those sit the practical pages: how to reach Dalyan, when to come, what moves a price and where to stay or eat.
